Michelle Taylor

Regional Manager International Enrolment (Sub-Saharan Africa)

Michelle is the Regional Manager, International Enrolment at Queen鈥檚 University, supporting undergraduate enrolment across the Middle East, Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa, with a primary recruitment focus in Sub-Saharan Africa.

A Queen鈥檚 alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Michelle brings over eight years of experience in undergraduate admission and recruitment. Michelle also oversees the university鈥檚 International Student Ambassador portfolio, providing guidance and coaching to current Queen鈥檚 students during their time as international ambassadors. Outside of work, she鈥檚 a coffee enthusiast who finds joy in connecting with students and is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where students feel welcomed and empowered to share their authentic lived experiences.

Shirin Shaikh

Recruitment Representative (Middle East)

Ms. Shirin Shaikh has joined Queen鈥檚 University as a Middle East North Africa (MENA) Recruitment Representative based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Shirin has more than ten years of experience in operations management and education counselling services for student recruitment in various countries such as the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. She is dedicated to empowering the youth by providing the best guidance for their future, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about building relationships. She has lived and worked in Mumbai, India, in addition to her professional experience in the Middle East. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and is currently learning Arabic. Shirin enjoys traveling and is also a talented cook.

Only applicants to Arts and Science, Commerce, Health Science and Engineering and Applied Science will be automatically considered for these awards.

Principal's Scholarship

Principal's Scholarships are awarded, on the basis of academic excellence, to students who are in the top 5% of the competitive admission average for each first-entry undergraduate degree program.

Total value: $7,000

International Admission Scholarship

All programs of study will be automatically considered for this award, no application is required. 

Total Value: $9,000
