It's well-known that gardening, and even just being around plants, offers numerous health and well-being benefits. Join Professor Dean Tripp for an engaging presentation on “The Feel Better Strategies that Work.” Professor Tripp will discuss happiness, resiliency, and emotional self-regulation. Dr. Tripp completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology at Dalhousie University in 2000, joining the Department of Psychology at ���˴�Ƭ (Canada) shortly after. He has been cross-appointed with the Departments of Anesthesiology and Urology and has been an internationally recognized researcher in chronic pelvic disease and pain. He has taught courses in Health Psychology, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Pain to undergrad, graduate, and medical students/residents. Dr. Tripp has been nominated and awarded the prestigious Frank Knox Teaching Excellence Award at ���˴�Ƭ and recognized nationally for excellence in health education.

Join us for a 3D printing workshop at SparQ Studios Makerspace. SparQ Studios is a makerspace and design studio that provides a wide range of tools, machinery, knowledge, and expertise so that you can bring your idea into a physical form.

Practical run-through where the workshop attendee(s) will:

• find a 3D model on the internet
• use the software to “slice” a 3D model
• take the .gcode file and physically interact with the printer
• load/unload the filament and start printing their file
