Inside of Douglas you will find W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections. Staff at Jordan preserve and provide access to a variety of materials, including rare books, maps, posters, and the impressive Edith and Lorne Pierce Canadiana collection.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In 1997 the Engineering and Science Library, opened in Douglas Library. Staff support students, faculty, and staff in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, and science departments of the Faculty of Arts and Science, as well as related research centres. Located on the top floor of Douglas Library, the 1923 reading room is one of ˴Ƭ's most iconic spaces.
