The Queen's Institute of Intergovernmental Relations recently hosted a fireside chat between former
Ontario Premier David Peterson, and former Globe and Mail national affairs columnist Jeffrey Simpson. Peterson and Simpson. The chat focused on former Premier Peterson’s experience with the negotiations around free trade, and the Meech Lake Accord, and their implications for national unity, and prosperity in an era of tariffs, and Trump.
The following day, former Premier Peterson met with students in the Faculty of Arts and Science Political Studies department for an hour long question and answer period.
