Living outside of Kingston? You can still access the support and expertise of Student Affairs services. Many offices offer virtual services, such as online appointments and email advising, while others will provide support on a case-by-case basis, depending on your needs.

 

Online Advising & Support

Student Academic Success Services (SASS)

offers support for developing academic skills through one-on-one appointments, and self-guided resources.

Student Wellness Services 

Student Wellness Services provides mental health and medical support, including counselling and health services. Also offers wellness coaching with health promotion professionals or peer staff to support students interested in making changes to their health behaviours.

Ontario-based students can call 613-533-2506 to book a medical or mental health appointment. Some appointments can be booked through TELUS CHR Connect. (Some medical appointments must be-in-person – please call for information).

All students can contact Health Promotion or book an appointment with Peer Wellness Coaches.

 

Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre (4D) 

Indigenous students can connect with 4D's Indigenous advisors to discuss academics, wellbeing and community support.

Queen’s University International Centre (QUIC) 

advisors help international students access information, guidance, and advice to help adjust to a new academic and cultural environment. Support may include navigating unfamiliar expectations around communication with instructors, research and assignment practices, and life in a different cultural context.

 

Yellow House Student Centre for Equity and Inclusion 

Yellow House provides advising, programming, advocacy, and support for 2SLGBTQ+ and/or BIPoC students.

The Ban Righ Centre offers personalized advising for mature women students of all ages and diverse backgrounds, whether currently enrolled or considering returning to formal education. Advisors can discuss academic goals, social, financial, or personal concerns.
