A confidential survey examining how AI tools are being used by faculty and staff at Queen’s will launch February 11. The survey builds on last year’s AI needs assessment and aims to develop a clearer picture of current activity across teaching, research, and operations.
The survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary but strongly encouraged, as results will inform future supports, policy guidance, and coordination. The survey is led by Eleftherios Soleas, Special Advisor to the Provost on Generative AI, and lead of the Queen’s AI Nexus. Respondents will have the option to make their contact information visible to colleagues, should they choose to do so.
Faculty and staff are asked to watch their inbox for an email from the Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic) containing the survey link. The survey will run until February 27.
