I’m a fourth-year Computer Engineering student with physics experience, and working to create a computer vision solution to characterizing fabrication noise/errors on nanophotonic structures. On my own time, I love to play basketball, travel, and watch Toronto sports.

My thesis develops Poisson–Schrödinger simulations of semiconductor quantum-dot heterostructures to guide single-photon-source and integrated-photonics design. I’m excited about post-Moore computing and engineering light for information processing.

Mary is a fifth-year Engineering Physics student specializing in electrical engineering, working on a thesis to develop simulation software for bias-tunable quantum dot p–i–n diodes that operate at cryogenic temperatures. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, going on hikes, and playing video games.

I'm a fifth-year Engineering Physics student, working to develop a QPNN-based Cluster State Generation Algorithm. I like to spend my free time outside, playing volleyball and enjoying nature.

I am researching how to experimentally control nonlinear quantum-light interactions using lasers of different frequencies. In general I am interested in quantum technology, its implementation, and quantum optical experiments. I also enjoy building and working with optical setups.

Ori is a fourth-year student in the astrophysics specialization, currently working through a thesis on the design and construction of Quantum Photonic Neural Networks. As a big fan of futuristic science fiction stories, Ori is passionate about the development of new technologies and the ways they can be used to benefit humanity.

Dinel is a joint student under Bhavin Shastri and Nir Rotenberg currently working towards developing photonic memory using photochromic materials. Outside of his research Dinel enjoys playing baseball and learning new recipes.
