&lt;p&gt;Yannick is a visiting physics PhD student from Humboldt University of Berlin supervised by Prof. Tim Schr枚der in the Integrated Quantum Photonics group. His research focuses on quantum technologies and diamond nanophotonics, especially how to control and use light鈥搈atter interactions for quantum communication and computing; this includes designing hybrid quantum repeater systems, developing secure quantum token schemes, creating large entangled photonic states, and building&lt;b&gt; &lt;/b&gt;software frameworks for quantum memories based on color centers in diamond to help make scalable quantum networks and devices possible.&lt;!-- notionvc: 753ee2b9-158e-4f12-93d9-32fe352f621e --&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
