Course Description
This course will introduce students to field methods and techniques used in wide variety of physical geography and related environmental fields. The emphasis will be on hands-on application of field sampling, measuring and mapping approaches.
NOTE Field Trip: estimated cost $100.

- Be able to use appropriate methodologies to collect environmental data.
- Develop skills to communicate field data results with maps, tables, and figures.
- Learn to recognize approaches to quality control of data.
- Gain an appreciation for the detailed planning behind field data collection.
