Media Relations and Research Intake Form


The Media Relations and Research Communications teams work with researchers across the institution to promote new research, outcomes, and impact to external audiences, including media and the broader public. 

We support a range of communications activities, from media outreach and storytelling to digital promotion across university channels. 

Queen鈥檚 University researchers can use this form to share research, projects, and initiatives with University Relations.  Submissions are reviewed by the teams for potential support and amplification.

Before you begin:

  • You will be prompted to log in with your Queen鈥檚 NetID

What to expect:

The form will ask you to provide:

  • A plain-language summary of your research
  • Context on why the work is relevant or timely
  • Key dates (e.g., publication, announcement, embargoes, if applicable)
  • Information about collaborators or related communications activity
  • Supporting materials such as papers, proofs, images, or video (optional)

Providing clear and complete information will help our team review your submission.

After you submit:

Submissions are reviewed for consideration; however, not all submissions will result in media coverage or publication.
