Professor Jennifer Ruth Hosek has been selected by Kwansei Gakuin University to represent Queen鈥檚 and a consortium of Canadian universities as Visiting Professor of Canadian Studies. In fall semester 2026, Dr. Hosek will be teaching at the Center for International Education and Cooperation at the Nishinomiya campus. KGU partners yearly with Queen鈥檚 and a group of other universities including U of Toronto, Mount Allison, McGill, UBC, Simon Fraser, U. Vic, Waterloo, Western, Calgary, Memorial, Guelph and Trent to exchange faculty and faculty expertise. Jennifer is excited about the opportunity to teach and learn about Canadian culture with KGU students. In addition, she plans leverage her stay in Japan to expand her research on non-automotive urban mobility cultures to the Japanese context.
