The Department of Geography and Planning congratulates Madison Power (MSc Candidate) who won Best Student-led permafrost paper at the 78th Annual CGS Conference & 9th Canadian Permafrost Conference. Madison is supervised by Dr. Robert Way.

Yifeng Wang, a recent doctoral graduate from the Department of Geography and Planning, also won (tied) for best permafrost paper at the whole conference. Yifeng was supervised by Dr. Robert Way.

PhD student Cedelle Pereira also received the Award for Best Poster. Cedelle is supervised by Melissa Lafreni猫re.
