Congratulations to Victoria Rilstone on starting her new journey as an Environmental Protection Officer with the BC Public Service in Victoria, British Columbia.
Victoria is one of our student, co-supervised by Dr. Pascale Champagne and Dr. Yves Filion.
Students from the Contaminants of Emerging Concern - Research Excellence Network (CEC-REN), along with members of the Beaty Water Research Centre (BWRC) at Queen’s University, visited the Kingston Ravensview Wastewater Treatment Facility today. Students were amazed at how the facility turns waste into safe water, gaining valuable insights and a deeper appreciation for environmental sustainability.
PhD student Jose Giovanni Leite de Brito was awarded 1 of 3 prizes at the ACS GC&E meeting on June 5th! The Student Poster Competition took place June 4th during the 28th Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference, June 2-5, 2024, in Atlanta-US.
Giovanni is one of our students, supervised by Dr. Philip Jessop.

Congratulations to Dr. Philip Jessop, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Canada Research Chair of Green Chemistry, on his appointment as an Honorary Professor at the University of Jordan. Jessop will be sharing his expertise in green chemistry and sustainability at the University of Jordan this April and plans to return for another visit in June.
