3rd Floor - Leon鈥檚 CentreExperience a quieter STEM zone.
This area is reserved for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); autism; social and emotional mental health needs; or other sensory-related or physical disabilities.
Enjoy craft-making, quiet experiments, as well as individual interactions with select exhibitors.
The sensory friendly science zone is located on the 3rd floor of the Leon鈥檚 Centre with a bird鈥檚 eye view of the ground floor activities.
Timed entrance, by registration only. Each ticket is valid for one child accompanied by one adult (for bigger families, please make sure to have one ticket for each child).
Reservations for the Sensory Friendly Science Zone are CLOSED
If you have noise cancelling headphones, please bring them to use during loud periods of the Chemistry Magic Show (scheduled between 10:30 鈥 11:00 a.m. and 1:45 鈥 2:15 p.m.). Warnings will be announced prior to any loud 鈥渂angs.鈥 We will provide earplugs.
You are welcome to visit exhibit areas in the concourse, main bowl and on Tragically Hip Way. Please be aware that those areas are likely to be crowded and noisier that the Sensory Friendly Science Zone.
