BWRC Annual Research Symposium

On November 13th, 2019, the Beaty Water Research Centre and LEADERS Program hosted its 2nd Annual Research Symposium. The Symposium was established to improve the flow and communication of ideas by bringing together researchers from Queen’s University and the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) who are often separated by departments or schools.

Following the guidelines from the World Health Organization and the Public Health Agency of Canada, the BWRC offices have decided to close in an effort to practice social distancing. Our faculty and staff, including the LEADERS Coordinators are currently working from home and are accessible by email.

We have cancelled our upcoming events for the time being including our monthly Seminar Series and the 2020 Water Initiative for the Future Conference.  

A key global issue was under the microscope this week at the Beaty Water Research Centre (BWRC). “Water Management in a Changing Climate”, a pan-Canadian symposium, was a co-production of Queen’s Engineering and the BWRC, and the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
