Meet at Tsi Yakwanahstahsont茅hrha, the Indigenous Outdoor Gathering Space

Join us for a Summer Solstice Walk Talk honouring relationships with the land through observation, seasonal teachings, and raccooning (foraging practices). In partnership with the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, these outdoor Walk Talks invite participants to slow down and deepen their connection to place during the special time surrounding the summer solstice. Beginning at Tsi Yakwanahstahsont茅hrha, the Indigenous Outdoor Gathering Space, participants will spend time outdoors engaging with the more-than-human world through guided reflection, sensory awareness, and observation. Depending on what is encountered along the way, teachings and stories related to medicinal plant life, reciprocity, and seasonal relationships may be shared.
