Bird Life on Campus: A Walk to Notice Nature

Date

11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location

Meet in front of Miller Hall

Step outside, slow down, and reconnect with the natural world, right here on campus. This guided walk invites you to pause, tune in, and experience the wellbeing benefits of engaging with nature through your senses.

Led by Queen's staff member and experienced birder Chris Grooms, this session offers a gentle, observational walk across campus, where participants will learn to notice and appreciate the movement, sounds, and behaviours of local and migratory birds.

Whether you're new to birding or simply looking for a refreshing midday reset, this session offers a unique opportunity to experience campus from a different perspective. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars if they have them and come prepared for a relaxed, mindful walk.
