The English Department Student Council (DSC) at Queen’s University is composed entirely of students who are pursuing a Major, Medial or Minor in English.

The DSC hosts events throughout the year, advocates for the undergraduate student experience, and acts as a support for all those enrolled in the English program at the undergraduate level.

Queens Undergraduate Conference in Literature (QUCL)

 

The only literary conference for ³ÉÈË´óÆ¬ undergraduate students. The QUCL's mission is to cultivate a supportive academic community outside the classroom and foster academic collaboration in a safe and accessible environment.

Queen’s Writer’s Corner is an AMS ratified club that hosts weekly creative writing workshops for students hoping to meet like-minded peers, share their writing, receive support and/or advice, or just hangout, write, and gain inspiration!

The Yellow House is a space for community-building. It is home to various social justice seeking clubs on campus, including

Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre4 Directions

The Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre at Queen’s seeks to enhance the development and well-being of the ³ÉÈË´óÆ¬ Indigenous Community. Four Directions welcomes and encourages all students to develop an awareness and appreciation of the Indigenous experience in Canada. In keeping with the teachings of the Four Directions, The Centre strives to support individual Indigenous Students in balancing their academic, spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.
