The Ban Righ Centre is located at 32 Bader Lane on main campus. We provide support and programming for mature woman-identified students and students who are parents while enrolled at Queen’s. Students come to the Centre to find help with academic, personal, and financial issues; to share experiences and network with peers; and to give and receive support.
We offer:
• One-on-one student advising on academic, financial, and personal issues
• In person and virtual advising sessions
• Referrals to campus and community services
• Emergency Financial Assistance
• Access to computers
• Quiet workspaces
• Quiet rooms for napping/resting
• Free soup lunches, tea, coffee
• Child-friendly space and events
• Informal lounge space
• a wide range of programming each year ranging from our Spring Awards Celebration, Writing Studio, Winter Bazaar for Families, Fall Feast, speakers, films, and more.
The fee will be used to help us continue to offer these services, so vote YES for Ban Righ Centre.
