    Zo毛 is thrilled to announce the launch of her artist website, built in collaboration with Kingston Frameworks. After a long career in academic publishing, Zo毛 has returned to the printmaking studio in Toronto and has a new collection of original silkscreen prints. She credits Queen's and her professor, J.C. Heywood, for her love of the silkscreen medium. Her work is .

    Annette is pleased to announce that she has been appointed to the board of directors of the Canada Energy Regulator. She joined the board on Jan. 24, 2025, for a five-year term. She currently holds the position of Honorary Guard Commander of the Fort Henry Guard and serves on the board of Synergy North. Ms. Bergeron has twice been named one of the Top 25 Women of Influence in Canada and is a recipient of the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers issued by the Governor General of Canada. She鈥檚 also taught at Queen鈥檚.

    Ross is now an adjunct research professor at Carleton University after a lengthy career in its School of Journalism and Communication. His most recent publications are: Historical Dictionary of Journalism (2nd ed.), published by Rowman and Littlefield, 2021; and Architecture as Communication: A Medium Like No Other, published by McGill-Queen鈥檚 University Press, 2025.

    In January, Grant received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his long-time advocacy regarding fighting climate change (over 1,000 presentations and counting) and also in promoting outdoor experiential education as essential learning for a sustainable future.

    Bill鈥檚 comic noir novel, Farewell And Goodbye, My Maltese Sleep, was published in October 2023 by Close To The Bone Publishing and is available on Amazon. It's the second funniest novel ever written, and concerns a private detective in 1950s Hollywood. An excerpt from the novel 鈥 a standalone story 鈥 can be found .

    Spring 2025

    The early 1970s graduating classes were among the luckiest generation ever! They graduated with the prospects of securing good jobs with opportunities for career advancement and were able to buy a home, something the younger generation can only dream of. Tom would now like to remind his fellow grads that it鈥檚 time to pay it forward. The 鈥淟ast ProBono Award鈥 was established to honour Fred Delaney (BComH鈥72 and LLB鈥75) through the provision of scholarships to students from the local area entering the faculties of Business or Law.

    Fred, a dedicated lawyer and three-term mayor of Gananoque, believed in service, fellowship and uplifting others. His guiding philosophy, "You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you," continues through this award. Fred often provided legal services to those who couldn鈥檛 afford to pay on a 鈥淧ro Bono鈥 basis, hence the name of the award.
