    Andrew Rathbun is pleased to announce that his album, The Speed of Time, was released on Sept. 15. 成人大片 the album, Andrew says: 鈥淭he pieces on Speed of Time are all connected with how the world has unfolded over the past few years. They are not necessarily 鈥榩andemic pieces鈥 per se, but influenced by the strange fluctuations of my perception of time during that period and beyond.鈥 The saxophonist has been recording steadily since the late 1990s and his latest album is published by Steeplechase Records.

    Twenty team members and partners of the undefeated 1978 Vanier Cup Champions Queen's Golden Gaels Football Team celebrated their 45th reunion in Kelowna, B.C. in July, 2023. They enjoyed many activities, including golf, kayaking, biking, and hiking, which were followed by a winery tour, tasting, and team dinner at the beautiful Noble Ridge Vineyard and Winery in Okanagan Falls, B.C. The winery is owned by 1978 team co-captain, Jim D'Andrea (Artsci鈥77, MA鈥79, Law鈥82), and his wife, Leslie (MacIntosh) (Sc鈥81). Plans are already underway for the team鈥檚 50th reunion in 2028 to be held in Kingston.

    Shaun Morris

    Shaun Morris has been named as the co-director for the SickKids Centre for Global Child Health. Shaun鈥檚 journey towards a career in global health started when he was a member of the Queen鈥檚 Medical Outreach (QMO) Guyana Project in 1999 and 2000. Now a pediatric infectious diseases physician, a clinician-scientist at SickKids Hospital and an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Toronto, Shaun works in Canada, South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Africa.

    Brett Christopher (Artsci'97), Frank Cipolla (Artsci鈥98), Tim Evans (Com'99), James Freeman (Com'99), Paul Levia (Artsci鈥97, MIR鈥98), Michael Payne, Justin Skinner (Artsci'98), and Jim Vlahos (Artsci鈥98) are celebrating 20 years of rivalry in their annual fantasy hockey pool. These 20 years have brought them to such exotic draft locales as Niagara Falls, Baileyboro, Corbyville and Whitby. Hundreds of dollars have changed hands over the years of competition and friendship.

    Pierre Dufault

    Pierre Dufault was appointed country manager at Diagnexia Canada Ltd., a leading provider of pathology services that play a crucial role in clinical pathways for cancer diagnosis and treatment. Diagnexia opened a cutting-edge digital pathology facility in Toronto in July 2023. Diagnostic turnaround times of less than three days 鈥 a stark contrast to the typical waiting times of one to two months 鈥 now are available to healthcare providers via the Diagnexia platform connecting Canadian hospital pathology laboratories to an international network of subspecialty expert pathologists.

    Edmond Yun and his family relocated from Hong Kong to London, U.K., in May 2022. Edmond has started working as client manager for Aon UK, which is based in Reading, since May 2023. He is feeling very fortunate that he can continue focusing his expertise on trade credit insurance. He can be contacted by email.
