On November 20th, the School of Policy Studies appointed the Honourable Bob Rae, 25th Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations, 21st Premier of Ontario, and Former Member of Parliament, as the Matthews Faculty Fellow in Global Public Policy.

Dr. Bob Lemieux, Interim Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science, announced Mr. Rae鈥檚 appointment following Mr. Rae鈥檚 Donald Matthews Lecture, 鈥1984 Was a Warning Not a Guidepost: The World We鈥檙e In,鈥 to an audience of over 150 Queen鈥檚 faculty members, students, and community members in Robert Sutherland Hall.
