I spread my arms and legs as far as I could to gain purchase on the top of the tourist bus as we bumped along the highway at 110 kilometres per hour. The night sky of this Northern Israel region was glittering above me. I was a little drunk again, and David Byrne’s pounding questions came through the speakers from below:

You may ask yourself, “What is that beautiful house?”

You may ask yourself, “Where does that highway go to?”

And you may ask yourself, “Am I right? Am I wrong?”

And you may say to yourself, “My God, what have I done?”
