I am a first-year PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Jainchill. My dissertation research explores how lesbians used, interacted with, and influenced the public sphere and urban environment of eighteenth-century Paris. This project aims to challenge androcentric narratives about early modern homosexuality and to develop a new perspective on lesbian existence before the modern era.
