Heidi Ploeg has been selected as a 2024\u00a0Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS)<\/a>\u00a0Fellow.\u202f Heidi is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering and Smith Engineering at Queen’s University’s first inaugural Chair for Women in Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ORS Fellows are individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service and leadership, substantial achievement, expert knowledge, and significant contributions to the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS), its Governance, and the field of musculoskeletal research. Fellows will represent ORS as the thought leaders and topic experts in their respective disciplines. Fellows also will serve as role models in the ORS community and in the field of musculoskeletal research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
