She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from St. Ambrose University and subsequently completed an orthopaedic residency. Dr. Lawrence went on to earn her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Minnesota, completed post-doctoral research training at Henry Ford Health System, then joined the faculty at Washington University.
