Congratulations George Bradley! At the recent Geological Society of America Conference in San Antonio, George won an award for Best Student Poster from GSA’s Sedimentary Geoscience Division and Society for Sedimentary Geology. His poster is entitled “Paragenetic evolution and implications of a mixed carbonate-evaporite system; the Givetian Dawson Bay Formation, Elk Point Basin” and is based on his MSc thesis research. George is a joint Queen's-Cape Breton University graduate student co-supervised by Peir Pufahl and Ted Matheson (CBU). (George is photo left).
