Description:
Explore the benefits of managing your time as a leader and realize how respecting other people’s time, as well as your own, can result in reduced stress and increased levels of engagement by creating time to build meaningful connections.
This is one of the five core courses required for the Enhancing Wellbeing and Preventing Burnout (EWPB) Certificate.
Topics:
- Understand how our leadership style impacts the way we view time management and the importance of modeling effective behaviours
- People-centred approach to managing time and maintaining connections in a hybrid workplace
- Creating a psychological safe environment where all team members can fully participate
- Framework for effective, purposeful, inclusive meetings and ways to connect with our teams
- Tools and strategies to improve our effectiveness as individuals and teams
Learning Objectives
- Examine personal approach to managing time and leading others
- Identify how our style impacts our individual effectiveness as well as our team
- Identify strategies that support leaders and their teams to increase their effectiveness
