    Youth Engagement in Community-Based Data Collection: Youth-to-Youth Interviews

    Queen's is a member of Community-Based Research Canada and Community of Practice (CofP) meetings bring together CBRCanada members to engage in meaningful discussions. All CBRCanada members involved in community-based research are welcome, whether you are a researcher, peer-researcher, student, project coordinator, administrator, director, or community leader. The purpose of the CofP is to network, learn, and exchange best practices.

    The group meets on Zoom the second Friday of every month from 12-1pm ET. Meetings are one hour, informal, and participatory. Each month will have a short guest talk on a big theme or topic in community-based research and then break-out groups and larger group discussion. By signing up you will receive re-occurring calendar invitations for the year. The link for CofP events can be found in the calendar invitation.

    December CoP Topic: Youth Engagement in Community-Based Data Collection: Youth-to-Youth Interviews. In this CoP session, participants will discuss youth engagement and leadership in research and data collection. Co-facilitators will share an example of a Canadian study that used youth-to-youth interviews to examine how young people make contraceptive choices.
