Through guided reflection, facilitated discussion, and practical examples, participants will examine how personal behaviours and organizational practices can either support or undermine a respectful, inclusive, and supportive workplace. The session encourages participants to reflect on their own role in contributing to psychologically safe environments where people feel valued, respected, and able to bring their best selves to work.
This session is designed for all employees and aligns with Queen's commitment to wellbeing and the Employee Wellbeing Road Map. This session is part of the Wellness Champion Sticker Program.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the key factors within a workplace that influence psychological health and safety
- Recognize the shared responsibility individuals and teams have in shaping workplace culture
- Identify behaviours and practices that support respect, inclusion, and psychological safety
- Reflect on personal actions and interactions and their impact on others
- Apply practical strategies to contribute to a more supportive and inclusive work environment
