    Queen's HR, in partnership with the Global Connect Employee Resource Group, is pleased to host this engaging in-person session supporting newcomer employees as they settle into both the Queen's and Kingston communities.

    Discover hidden gems across the city, from family-friendly activities and outdoor adventures to vibrant cultural events. Learn about vital newcomer resources, including immigration support, language and citizenship classes, healthcare, childcare and eldercare programs.

    You'll also gain practical tips on expanding your Kingston network through initiatives such as Kingston Welcome Nights and the Intercultural Arts Festival. Whether you're looking to meet new people, build community or access essential services, this session will help you feel more confident and supported in navigating your new home.

    Participants will also have the opportunity to share tips, experiences and resources, fostering mutual support, connection and belonging among newcomer employees.
