    Description:

    Movement is medicine, and strength training can play a powerful role in supporting mental health, stress management, and resilience. This session will focus on foundational strength training movements while highlighting how physical activity supports mental health, focus, mood, and stress regulation. Colin will guide participants through key movement patterns, discuss proper technique, and explain how strength training can be adapted for different bodies, goals, and comfort levels.

    Participants will:

    • Learn fundamental strength training movements and techniques
    • Understand the connection between physical activity and mental wellbeing
    • Explore how movement can support stress management and energy levels
    • Gain confidence using gym spaces and equipment safely
    • Be prepared to move and exercise during this session

    No prior experience required. This session is designed for all fitness levels.
