Random Acts of Kindness: Self-Guided Micro-Challenge (Thrive 365)
Find on Campus Map
The Random Acts of Kindness micro-challenge encourages simple, meaningful actions that strengthen social connection, foster belonging, and positively impact both the giver and receiver. Research shows that acts of kindness support mental wellbeing, reduce stress, and help build stronger workplace relationships. This initiative is designed to be flexible and inclusive, allowing participants to engage in ways that feel manageable within their daily routines.
How it works - Participants are encouraged to complete one or more small acts of kindness throughout February, such as:
鈥 Writing a thank-you note or message
鈥 Giving a shout-out to a colleague
鈥 Offering help or checking in on someone
鈥 Sharing an encouraging message
Participation is flexible鈥攋oin whenever your schedule allows.
Optional ways to engage: Participants may join the optional Teams channel to share reflections or ideas, post photos or messages celebrating kindness, or contribute to the online Gratitude Wall. Sharing is optional and intended to amplify positivity across our community.
Gratitude Wall
The Queen鈥檚 Gratitude Wall is a virtual space to recognize everyday acts of kindness that strengthen our campus community.
