Description:
Join us for an Observatory Open House on Saturday January 10th at 6:30pm in Ellis Hall Auditorium at ³ÉÈË´óƬ.
This month we are excited to feature Dr. Danielle Simkus, Research Projects Advisor at ³ÉÈË´óƬ and former Science Team Member for NASA’s OSIRIS REx mission. Dr. Simkus will be presenting "The Building Blocks of Life Beyond Earth."
The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Queen’s Observatory where visitors will have the chance to view the planets and/or other celestial objects with our telescopes. The tour will also include a visit to the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute.
