This session is part of the Wellness Champion Sticker Program and is designed for all employees to help focus on developing personal resilience, by recognizing your automatic responses to stress, and by choosing healthier strategies. This session will provide participants with excellent takeaway resources, as well as a participant handbook to follow along with during the workshop and to reflect on in the future. This session directly aligns with the Employee Wellbeing Road Map.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Define resilience and explain its role in responding to stress, change, and everyday challenges at work and in life
- Recognize personal stress responses, including common automatic thoughts, emotions, and behaviours
- Reflect on individual resilience strengths and stress triggers within their workplace and personal contexts
- Apply practical, healthy coping strategies to support emotional regulation, recovery, and positive decision-making
- Identify resources and tools to support ongoing resilience and wellbeing beyond the session
Participants will leave with practical takeaways, a participant handbook for reflection, and strategies they can continue to use to enhance their quality of life and overall workplace wellbeing.
