Christina Luzius‑Vanin is a PhD student in the School of Social Work at McMaster University and a Research Associate and Community Developer with Oasis Communities for Aging Well. An Ontario Certified Teacher, artist, and experienced teaching assistant, Christina brings a multidimensional perspective to her work at the intersections of community development and social inclusion. She holds a BA with an Honors Specialization in Visual Arts from Western University, as well as a Bachelor of Education and Master of Education from Queen’s University. Christina’s academic and professional journey reflects her deep commitment to fostering vibrant, connected communities and advancing research that supports aging well in place.
