    Canadian Permanent Residency Information Session (Thrive 365)

    Description:

    Queen's Human Resources, in partnership with the Global Connect Employee Resource Group, is pleased to host an in-person information session on Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) pathways for staff and faculty.

    This session will be facilitated by Era Macwan, who will guide participants through commonly used immigration pathways relevant to employees working in Canada. The focus will be on building understanding, reducing uncertainty, and helping participants feel more confident as they consider their PR options.

    Topics will include:

    • An overview of key economic immigration pathways, including Express Entry
    • Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP) streams relevant to skilled workers
    • General considerations when planning a PR application while working in Canada
    • Common questions and misconceptions about Permanent Residency pathways

    Time will be reserved for questions at the end of the session.
