Sara Slinn joined the Osgoode Hall Law School faculty in 2007, after five years at Queen鈥檚 Faculty of Law. A professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, she also serves as a Program Director of Osgoode鈥檚 professional LL.M. in labour and employment law. She holds graduate degrees in Industrial Relations (Ph.D. University of Toronto; MIR Queen鈥檚), an LL.B. (UBC), and a B.A. Honours in Economics (Queen鈥檚). She has written extensively on labour and employment law and is a General Editor of the Comparative Labor Law and Policy Journal. Professor Slinn鈥檚 research interests are in the areas of labour and employment law, focusing on different approaches and impediments to collective employee representation, and the intersection of Charter rights and labour law. Reflecting her interdisciplinary graduate work, Professor Slinn鈥檚 research is interdisciplinary and uses empirical methods of analysis. Sara Slinn is also an arbitrator and mediator, has been named by the Ontario Minister of Labour, Immigration, Skills and Development to the list of approved grievance arbitrators and is a member of the Grievance Settlement Board. She has also practiced labour and employment law with both the British Columbia Labour. |
