For the first time ever, the Social Issues Commission, ASUS Equity, Students of Colour Collective (SOCC), and Yellow House are coming together for SOCC’s annual cultural show — THREADS!

Inspired by the Equity Gala, this year’s event expands beyond tradition to celebrate all forms of self-expression, including cultural, artistic, and personal identity. From fashion and dance to music, poetry, and visual art, THREADS showcases the many ways students express who they are and where they come from.

All proceeds will be matched by ASUS and go to Almost Home. Almost Home in Kingston is a non-profit organization that provides a "home-away-from-home" for families with children receiving medical treatment in the city's hospitals.
