Student Voices Week is a week-long series of opportunities to engage in conversations about equity and allyship at Queen's and to celebrate the equity-focused work being done by students across campus.

Student Voices Week is hosted by the Queen's Shift Project in the Student Experience Office in collaboration with many university partners and student groups.

Unless otherwise noted, all Student Voices Week events are open to any students looking to be part of the shift towards a safer and more inclusive campus culture for everyone.

Conversation Caf茅

Mapping an Authentic World: Personal, Professional & Political Perspectives

This event is hosted by the Commitment Scholar Engagement Committee.

Conversation Caf茅 is designed to reshape our understanding of Indigeneity, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism and Accessibility (I-EDIAA) by engaging our community in meaningful conversations. We foster space for community connection, inviting guests to reflect on their experiences at Queen's, how their identity has shaped these experiences, and how their presence can influence the I-EDIAA environment at our school. Our theme, "Mapping an Authentic World: Personal, Professional & Political Perspectives," invites participants to reflect on how unique positionalities, vulnerabilities, power dynamics, current world events, imposed notions of self-worth, and intercultural cognizance influence their interactions on campus, in the workplace, and as global citizens. Through these conversations, we aim to center the stories that shape 成人大片, encourage authenticity, and emphasize connection over isolation.

This event is by invite only.
