The Guatemala-Canada Solidarity Network (Kingston) is thrilled to host award-winning documentary photographer James Rodròµ³Ü±ð³ú&²Ô²ú²õ±è;() for a series of events in Kingston this October. James RodrÃguez’s long-term photography amplifies the voices of Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, capturing both the resilience and the struggles of Guatemalan communities living in the shadow of war, displacement, and extractivism. His work not only documents marginalized experiences but forces us to confront the connections between Canada and Guatemala today, making his talks both visually powerful and politically urgent.
