While completing the application, take the time to think about how you can convey your story. While the financial information you provide is important, remember that the numbers cannot tell us who you are or what drives you. The selection committee will place greater emphasis on the sections of your application where you share why you believe this award (or these awards) are meaningful to you.
Review the different award criteria to determine what you will be eligible for, and use the letter of self-nomination to emphasize relevant parts of your story. Perhaps you want to emphasize your connection to the Ban Righ Centre鈥檚 missions, or your experiences as a single mother, or maybe your journey as a newcomer to Canada has shaped your goals. Until February 6th, you can consult with a dedicated Ban Righ Staff (Lubna Rahman) to discuss how do this effectively.
