How wonderful to read your article on Dr. Christopher Booth (Summer, 2025). What a remarkable achievement. I was fortunate to be able to participate in this clinical study about 10 years ago 鈥 how rewarding to have been involved in such groundbreaking research. Thank you for highlighting Dr. Booth鈥檚 work.

Congratulations for a fine issue. I particularly enjoyed 鈥淜eeper of the Faith鈥 on Lois Hazlett (Summer, 2025), and I remember her sons Paul and Ian playing. While Queen鈥檚 can be rightly proud of the improvements to the latest version of Richardson Stadium, my brother (Arts鈥72) and I take exception to the description of the original stadium being a 鈥渕odest affair.鈥  Our father brought us to home games beginning in 1956 and continued doing so until his death in 2011. My brother and I attended many games at the original stadium until it closed. The stadium could hold more than 4,500 fans and was regularly full. The side for the general public was protected with a roof, and the roar of the crowd could regularly be heard across campus and as far away as Princess Street. Like Queen鈥檚, and Queen鈥檚 football, the original stadium was never modest.

My goodness, the latest Review (Summer, 2025) is so good, both in content and design! I think I鈥檝e read it cover to cover. Tony Atherton鈥檚 piece on the COVID-19 grads was just superb and the cover design was so appropriate for the story! My other two favourite stories were Tony鈥檚 feature about Lois Hazlett, and Rob Gerlsbeck鈥檚 profile of Judith Brown. All the best from this admiring reader!
