Join the鈥疍epartment of Chemistry鈥痜or an open house at . This all-ages event is an opportunity to learn what's new within the department and the university, reconnect with former classmates, and meet current students.
Established through the efforts of the Chernoff Family, this state-of-the-art facility has been home to the Department of Chemistry since its completion in the Fall of 2002. Chernoff Hall is a five-floor structure which houses both 鈥渨et鈥 sections (laboratory-based) and 鈥渄ry鈥 sections (administrative-based). Out of its total area of over 14,000 square metres, more than 5,000 square metres are dedicated to laboratory space.
Meet at the main doors of Chernoff Hall (not Chernoff Auditorium), where we will have building tours departing at 10:30 am, 11:00 am, 11:30am, and noon. Chernoff Hall is fully accessible, for any accommodations or inquiries, please get in touch.
