The use cases identified here have not been assessed for implementation at Queen’s in terms of prioritisation, required investments, readiness for adoption, appetite for change, etc. They are being provided to spark Queen’s imagination for how GenAI could potentially bring transformative change to the University.
Student Support Services:
- Summarise course descriptions/content to help streamline the course selection process and narrow options for majors/minors and future education plans
- Deliver virtual advising assistant for student support services from application through to matriculation
- Provide accessibility support for students with disabilities
- Identify academically at-risk students (analysis of attendance patterns, levels of engagement)
